City’s Mobile Office coming to Morningstar, Hout Bay, Kensington and Manenberg

This week the City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be taking municipal services to Morningstar, Hout Bay, Kensington and Manenberg. There will also be a Human Settlements roadshow in Morningstar and Kensington. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
The details are as follows:
- Tuesday, 29 August 2023, from 09:00 to 14:00 at the Morningstar Community Hall, Main Road, Morningstar
- Wednesday, 30 August 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Hout Bay Library Hall, Melkhout Crescent, Hout Bay
- Thursday, 31 August 2023, from 09:00 to 14:00 at the Kensington Civic Centre, 11th Avenue, Kensington
- Friday, 1 September 2023, from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Druiwevlei Community Hall, 105 Ruimte Road, Manenberg
Morningstar and Kensington residents can also expect to engage with Human Settlements staff during these visits.
The City's Customer Relations Department's mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries.
'To date, the mobile office team has been very effective in resolving long outstanding queries for residents. It is with this same intention that we bring the City's services to Morningstar, Hout Bay, Kensington and Manenberg. Should residents wish to make use of the services on offer, we ask that they remember to bring along their ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
